This quote means a lot to me and embodies what I’d like to accomplish with this blog. Along with my health journey, I’m still trying to figure out who I am, and I hope to help others discover the same. So if you’re into health and fitness, if you’ve never worked out in your life, if you love eating plant-based, if you don’t know what the f*?! plant based even means, if you love lifting weights, or if you’ve never set foot in a gym, I’m hoping I’ll post something that will make you want to explore at least one of these things.

I am a 22 year old Nutrition & Dietetics student pursuing my dietetic internship and Master’s Degree in Nutrition. I have tried the paleo diet, “clean eating,” If It Fits Your Macros (IIFYM), and now personally follow a plant-based diet. My goal is to provide evidence-based nutrition advice to help you find what works best for you. I also love the gym and am currently training to compete in powerlifting, but I have previously run half marathons and trained with a bodybuilding goal in mind. You name it, I’ve done it all, and I’m hoping my experience can help someone to not make the same mistakes I made!

Writing is an outlet for me, so don’t fault me for being a little feelsy sometimes. I hope you join me in this journey, and we can work towards total health together.
